A Visit to Langit Indonesia Berjangka in Indonesia – Office Found
Indonesia

Reason for this visit

Bank Indonesia (the Central Bank of Indonesia) is mandated to establish and maintain the stability of the Rupiah, while the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (BAPPEBTI), which operates under direct supervision of the Ministry of Finance, regulates all entities operating in Indonesia‘s financial markets, including forex and CFD brokers. In 2013, the Indonesian government began a strict crackdown on numerous fraudulent brokers targeting Indonesian citizens. This, however, led to many overseas brokers closing their websites in the country. Subsequently, the Indonesian government decided to reopen access to overseas brokers on the condition that they establish local offices and comply with BAPPEBTI guidelines (where applicable). However, these conditions proved to be temporary, and currently Indonesian investors are free to choose any international broker. With a population of nearly 270 million, Indonesia is the world’s largest Muslim country. Therefore, all forex brokers in the Indonesian market offer Sharia-compliant Islamic trading accounts. To help investors and practitioners better understand the country’s forex brokers, WikiFX survey team conducted on-site visits.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to Indonesia to visit forex broker Langit Indonesia Berjangka as planned according to its regulatory address that AXA Tower Lt. 27 Suite 07 Kuningan, Kecamatan Setiabudi, Kota Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta 12940.

A seasoned and professional inspection team, committed to safeguarding investor interests, conducted a meticulously planned on-site verification of the forex broker Langit Indonesia Berjangka at AXA Tower in Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

The field investigators successfully arrived at the Kuningan area in South Jakarta. The target building, AXA Tower, is situated alongside a main thoroughfare with moderate traffic flow. The surrounding area primarily consists of commercial office buildings, presenting an overall neutral atmosphere—neither notably bustling nor showing signs of deterioration. The tower features a modern glass curtain wall design, stands over 30 stories tall, and has a security booth at its entrance, preliminarily indicating a high-end business complex.

Access to the building requires passing through dual security checkpoints at both the underground lobby and ground-floor reception. The investigators followed protocol by registering identity details with security personnel and obtaining a temporary access card. Security explicitly stated that visitors are prohibited from entering office floors without authorization and are restricted to public areas only. These measures reflect stringent management standards consistent with premium office buildings.

In the public lobby‘s directory board, the inspection team noted that Langit Indonesia Berjangka’s name and logo had been removed from the 27th-floor corporate listings. Upon inquiry, property management confirmed the company plans to relocate but currently remains operational at the original address, preliminarily verifying its active status.

The investigators obtained permission to photograph the building‘s exterior and lobby. Using the access card, they proceeded to the 27th floor, where multiple private offices were observed. However, Langit Indonesia Berjangka’s doorplate and internal signage had been removed. Brief observation revealed its former office (Suite 07) was locked, preventing interior documentation. Contact attempts with company staff for entry were politely declined, though it was confirmed the space remains unoccupied by other tenants. Despite the absence of company branding, property management verified the address as its valid registered location.

Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that the broker maintains a physical presence at the location.

Conclusion

The survey team went to Indonesia to visit forex broker Langit Indonesia Berjangka as scheduled and found the company at the regulatory address. It indicates that the broker has a physical office at the place. Meanwhile, investors are advised to make a sensible decision following much deliberation.
